Dear viewer,
“Mid Week Quiz” (MWQ) is a part of IACTA Echo Library where we promote competitive echo learning through multiple choice question.
Every Tuesday, at 2 PM (Indian Standard Time), a question would be posted, and the viewers would be given a chance to answer the quiz. The winner would be declared on Wednesday at 2 PM giving the result and the winner.
Components: The quiz would have following components
a) Question: There will be one or two video/pictures with annotations and a text question based on or related to the media files. The question will be based on echocardiography.
b) Options: There would be four options i.e. “a”, ”b”, “c” and “d”. One of these would be most correct and right answer.
c) Explanation: The explanation of why correct is correct and why wrong is wrong. The explanation will be released when we give the result of the quiz.
d) Result: The result of the quiz would be released and uploaded on the website at 2 PM of Wednesday i.e. 24hrs after the origin of quiz.
e) Reference: Result explanation would have reference of manuscript published on IACTA Echo Library and also from scientific papers published elsewhere.
How to participate:
Only the registered members of IACTA Echo library can participate in the quiz. A visitor who opens www.iactaecholibrary.co.in would be able to view the home page and the MWQ but would not be able take part in it unless he/she is a member of this. If not member, se/she can click to “signup” and register for free on IACTA Echo Library. Otherwise also, email will be sent to all registered members whenever a new quiz is published (presently on every Tuesday at 2:00 PM Indian standard time)
Answering the quiz:
After login with username and password, member can take part in quiz. There would be media files (video or picture) and related question to this. There would be four options i.e. “a”, ”b”, “c” and “d”. One of these would be most correct and right answer. Click to the post appropriate answer and then submit it. Before you submit, one can change option as many times but once submitted, the option is closed for that user for that particular quiz.
Quiz Answer:
Answer to the quiz will be released on Wednesday at 2:00 PM (Indian Standard Time). The result would show the correct answer (same highlighted in graph in green color also).
There would be explanation of the correct answer and also why test of the options are wrong. The media would also show the reasoning of correct answer if required.
Reference:
There would be reference supporting the answer/explanation. Also there would be reference of manuscripts published on IACTA Echo Library. To read in detail, viewer can click on these manuscript reference number and the same manuscript would open as published.
Winner of quiz:
No quiz is complete without competition. Winner would be the person who answers the quiz correct at the earliest. This will be selected by website automatically i.e. as soon as e release the quiz question, who so ever submits the correct answer first would be picked automatically and declared as we give the answer at 2:00 PM on Wednesday. The name and profile with photograph of the winner would be placed at home page of the website and shall remain on home page for one week till the next quiz is released.
Apart from this, there are many more incentives which will be announced time to time for maximum participation, maximum correct answers in a year, maximum comments written on quiz module, best suggestion given on MWQ etc.
Grading of MWQ:
Here a scale will be provided where the viewers can grade the difficulty level of the quiz starting from 1 as easy and 10 as most difficult. Depending on viewers opinion, we can decide the future quiz questions.
